MissionThe Arts Action Network is an online showcase, directory, network and documentary of contemporary, working artists, art projects, and issues. We seek to form collaborative partnerships with organizations and individuals that are actively promoting and sponsoring forms of art and critique. This website is meant to promote, hand selected artists along with creating a living dialog with users. As the website grows and more collaborators join our mission, we will begin to add original content in the place of publicly available content--this includes biographies of artists and projects.Arts Action Network is in a "beta" formative period and much of our work is behind the scenes. We would like to draw attention to our partner (sister) project: Womens Action Network below, which will set the precedent for AAN development this coming year. We are seeking volunteers for data collection and research for the AAN archive starting in April of 2008. We hope you can join us.
